Marketing Help? Strategic and Tactical Planning?
What is the difference between a Strategic and a Tactical plan. ive an example. Would changing the price of the company’s products that are viewed as too expensive be consideed as a strategic or tactical plan?
I’d say that it is a tactical plan – you are talking about changing one thing (price), in response to being ‘too expensive’.
In a strategic plan you would need to consider the industry, the market you’ve targeted, your competition, how your products ‘fit’, pricing strategies, promotional strategies and much more.
